What is Happiness? Happiness is not about getting what we want. It’s about appreciating what we have!
Don’t get the wrong idea. There is nothing wrong with getting want you want, in fact life is supposed to be a continuing series of chapters wherein we do get what we want, forever updating our requirements.
It’s just that, as a way of getting what we want, focussing on what we haven’t got doesn’t work. The manifestation process is based on how we use our emotional energy in concert with a particular wish. To have that wish come about, we need to emulate the feeling of how we would feel when that wish comes true. Admittedly it’s not something we have been familiar with doing and it does seem a bit like putting the cart before the horse. However, that is the way it works. Argue with it if you like, or just get on and try it, prove it and then update your belief system, which governs your automatic stream of thoughts and possibilities.
When we focus on what we have not got, our emotional energy, the key of manifesting what we want, lowers, and ceases to be a vibrational match to what it is we want. However when we focus on gratitude, we are effectively reviewing all the good things that have come into our life and celebrating our pleasure, delight, satisfaction and gratitude for what we have. In this way, the emotional energy vibration moves to a higher level than that which is the result on focussing on lack.
It’s nothing to do with politeness to God. He/she really doesn’t get involved. It’s an automatic process. You get what you feel, whether you are aware of it or not! If you don’t believe you are able to manifest things, who do you think brought about your present life situation? We are manifesting things all the time only for the most part we do not realise.
By consciously being aware of our feelings we turn our manifestation into making what we want, rather than what comes about by our default emotional feeling disposition, which we may not even know is creating something we would not consciously choose!
