Ecology: the study of the relationships between living organisms and their interactions with their natural or developed environment
EcoLifeWalks are conducted in places of outstanding beauty, which make them a very agreeable way to pass a holiday on a sunny biosphere desert island
There are other, compelling reasons why ecology forms part of what we do, since
- The energy signature of unspoiled natural places is akin to our own (alpha wave) higher state of consciousness, which makes us fell good as we actively appreciate the beautiful environment.
- Our appreciation of natural beauty helps us to align ourselves with this state, and we know it, since there is a perceptible feel-good sensation.
- When we are able to hold onto this feel-good sensation, miraculously, things seem to go better in life. We investigate this and find ways to magnify it and use it to our benefit.
- Things going better in Life is also a function of our being connected to the Source of all things: let’s call it a deep Ecology. For thousands of years before the arrival of Judaic religions, people around the world lived in relative peace and harmony
Deep Ecology: Deep ecology seeks a more holistic view of the world we live in and seeks to apply to life the understanding that separate parts of the ecosystem (including humans) function as a whole
