The Cesar Manrique Foundation, (Fundacion) at Tahiche, Lanzarote is a great place to start, if you are interested in the work of the great artist eco-warrior who played a formative role in the island’s heritage. You will see his original house, his art, his volcanic bubble architecture, his projects as well as photoarchives of the time when he resided in this great show-piece. There is a cafe and an excellent gift shop.
